Agent collects money from 100 people for the same house (Video)
A group of people have besieged an apartment which they all paid rent for without realising that the agent scammed them.
The house hunters had all paid money to the same house agent, who made each of them believe that he will secure the house.
It was gathered that he had collected money from over 100 people but by the time the victims realised what he was doing, the agent had already absconded.
The house they all paid for is located in Surulere, Lagos state. A video which is circulating online shows a huge crowd crying out for help after they found out that there are several others who paid for the same apartment.
Some of the victims claimed that they paid for the apartment with their savings. They called on government to intervene so that their monies can be recovered.
