A young Nigerian Amputated man who lost his right leg in an accident cries for help.

A young Nigerian who feels he cannot allow his disability to stop him from being useful to himself has cried out to public spirited Nigerians for financial assistance to buy a prosthetic (artificial leg) which will cost about 2.5 Million Naira.

Speaking to The Helen Media, He said;

“My Name is Ibunkun Bankole, I reside in Lagos Nigeria, am 41 years old, I was working in a tax and consulting firm, but I stopped because I had accident while I was trying to cross the highway, a tipper ( truck) hit me on the 23rd of September 2017, so I was taken to about 4 different private hospitals but I was rejected simply because the accident was severe and general hospitals were on strike too, however, after much effort to get hospital that can admit me i got in a private hospital that finally accepted me, I was hospitalized for 3months, the left leg has surgical plates and screws to hold the bone, and the right leg was amputated, in 2018 I came back home because the bills for hospital bed daily was something I could not afford anymore, during that period my mum died because she developed high blood pressure due to my condition and while I was at home the leg got infected again I treated it at home till April 2020! So right now I need help so that I can buy a prosthetic ( artificial leg) which costs about 2.5million naira! Whatever people can assist me with, I will appreciate so that I can be able to buy the prosthetic and get back on my feet ! We rise by lifting others.

Renowned Nollywood actor Gideon Okeke has criticized female content creators on social media for posting pictures of themselves online.

The former Big Brother Naija housemate pointed out in a lengthy post on his Instagram page how content creators hide their relationships while exposing their most private parts under the guise of making entertainment.

He also talked about how these women use phrases like “My body is my business,” “You can look but can’t touch,” and “You can’t tell a woman what to do with her body” as compliments.

The actor continued, saying that since everyone is a vigilante on the streets, all he is doing is advocating for safer streets and the growth of better men.

Priscilla Ojo, the daughter of Iyabo Ojo, was severely rebuked by well-known journalist Kemi Olunloyo for declaring that she will never date a man who is less wealthy than her.

The young fashionista recently discussed the value of financial matching in dating relationships in a podcast.
She believes that she cannot date someone who is more financially successful than her since he would have to have the same level of drive to support her.

Her statements, however, caused quite a stir online as several people felt them to be highly provocative.

Kemi Olunloyo bashed her, pointing out that her mother dated pastors and governors when she was growing up, so it’s not all her fault but rather the result of her upbringing.

Afrobeats singer Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, better known as Mr. Eazi, has announced his marriage to Temi Otedola, an actress.

Mr. Eazi revealed that he is, in fact, married to the billionaire’s daughter in an interview with Naija 102 FM, debunking rumors that he and Temi Otedola were hiding their marriage and wedding.
He says that he didn’t keep their wedding a secret because the music video for his song “Legalize” included footage from their Venice wedding.

The singer claimed that the outfits they wore in the video went beyond simple costumes as he pleaded with viewers to see it again.
