The funeral rites of the late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu, which commenced on Tuesday, June 20, 2022, ended on Saturday, after she was laid to rest. The singer, who shot into the limelight with the hit “Ekwueme“, which has been viewed 72 million times on YouTube, died in an Abuja hospital.

The remains of the late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu, who died as a result of domestic violence, were taken to her village for burial.
Tears were unleashed on Saturday as gospel artist Osinachi Nwachukwu was laid to rest in her home town in Abia State! May her soul rest in peace.

However, Dr Nkiru, the woman who called for justice for Osinachi’s death, put a smile on people’s faces after she promised to sponsor Osinachi’s four children. She noted that she knew the kind of situation the children would be facing and promised to help them through their studies. She added that she is doing it because she knows how it feels when someone doesn’t have whom to run to when the time of paying school fees come. She also urged various individuals to come out and render some assistance to the children of the deceased.

Speaking through a video posted by Gboa TV, she said, “The family members are going through a lot of trauma. You can imagine a mother not seeing her daughter for months, or years, and all you hear is that your daughter is dead, or maybe you have even seen her, and then you come to the hospital to discover that your baby is sick, and the end of the story is that she is dead. You will be devastated. But I urge the mother, father, brother, and sister to look up to God, for he will solve their problems for them. “

“Nobody can do it better than Osinachi, and the dream of the foundation is that God should start speaking to people not to use Osinachi’s death for fund raising or turn it to their selfish interest.”

“I inquired about the children and how they were doing, and they informed me that they had relocated to Enugu due to school fees, which I had paid on June 3rd. It’s not about politics or anything. I and my family will train Osinachi’s four children to university level because I know how it is when you don’t have someone to be called upon when it is time to pay school fees.”
