A Nigerian Man based in the United States of America has opened up his relationship issues hoping to get good advice on a way forward.

According to him, he has spent all his life savings working as a taxi driver to sponsor his wife’s enrollment in Nursing School at the USA but upon attaining the Nursing degree, his wife behaves strangely which made him worried.

The full story reads:

He (The Man) traveled to the US 6 years ago, saved some money, went to Nigeria, and got married. He took his wife abroad a year later, enrolled her in a nursing school so that she can become a nurse and earn more money to support the family because his taxi job wasn’t enough.”

“He used to work long hours to make ends meet while she was in school. Things were perfect between them even after they welcomed a baby boy. She graduated from nursing, bought a car and they were able to move into a nicer apartment but her husband is unhappy.”

“He said that she barely stays at home when she’s off, leaves the baby with a nanny all day until he returns to take over, doesn’t like cooking, and would hang out with her friends all day. He said they haven’t touched each other in 6 months.”

Each time he tries talking to her, she would get upset and lash out at him. Just recently, he invited a close relative to talk to her but she walked out on them asking for a divorce if her husband is tired of the marriage.”

“The man does not want to divorce her. He feels like he’s invested everything in her and wants to work on their marriage but is afraid that he is losing his wife. They’ve been married for 5 years. He said his wife is no longer the woman he married.”
