Through his social media posts, Dammy Krane had been pleading with Davido, the Nigerian singer, for attention and payment for money he felt was due to him.

Shortly afterwards, though, Davido replied on social media, claiming that he was never paid for the three verses he had given Dammy Krane, which promoted Dammy Krane’s career.

Along with mentioning his royalties and verse fees, he also made note of the fact that he had given food and shelter to Dammy Krane during his stay at his Atlanta home when he was homeless.
