I spend N3 million on diesel monthly – Peter Okoye laments

According to Peter Okoye, he spends roughly N3 million a month on diesel for his home.

One-half of the well-known musical group P-Square, Peter, voiced his worries about the health of the Nigerian economy at the time.

He bemoaned the enormous effect that rising costs have on daily living in an Instagram story, particularly in light of the skyrocketing price of diesel.

Okoye asserted that his current monthly diesel expenditure is a staggering 3 million Naira.

The musician claims that this sum is about 20 times what he paid for his first car, which he bought many years ago for 120,000 Naira.

His tweet demonstrated the seriousness of Nigeria’s economic problems, with rising prices having an impact on not only people but also businesses and industries. Many people who have also experienced the effects of economic changes found Okoye’s message to be relevant.

Peter Okoye has recently generated debate on social media for reasons more than merely his financial worries. When he earlier called for police intervention and justice in the case of Mohbad’s passing, he found himself caught up in an internet argument.
