“I’m receiving threats for speaking out about EFCC oppression” – Skales
The Nigerian artist Skales has admitted that he has received threats as a result of speaking out against the EFCC.
Remember how he had complained to X about purported oppression by the EFCC? He explained how heavily armed agents burst into his home and accused him of being a fraudster.
He claimed that they mistreated him in front of his wife and six-month-old child and that this caused him to have a panic attack because of his health issues.
Additionally, he stated that EFCC agents hurt his producer. On Tuesday morning, Skales declared on his X handle that his life was in danger because of what he had revealed about his ordeal at the hands of EFCC agents.
