“I’m sorry, didn’t know it’ll go viral” – Girl publicly apologizes as parents watch her iPhone 8 request reaction video

A woman from Nigeria who goes by the TikTok handle @_prettyy._.yorubagirl_ has taken to her social media platform to apologize to her family and anybody else who she may have hurt with a recent video she published online showing her parents’ response to her request for an iPhone 8.

An article about a Nigerian woman who asked her parents for an iPhone 8 as a birthday present was previously published by Thehelenmedia.

Her father had, as shown in the video, refused her plea and told her to put her attention on more crucial matters.

Even more outrageously, he advised her to use non-traditional methods to obtain the iPhone.

A public apology to her father and anyone else who could have been harmed by the film was put online by the young woman some hours after the original video was uploaded.

She apologized for asking for the iPhone at the time, for filming their emotions, and for posting it online, saying she didn’t realize it would be so well-known.
