“I’ve been getting death threats, I cover my face when going out” – Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi

The late musician IleriOluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad,’s widow, Wunmi Aloba, has said that she has received death threats.

She gave testimony during the coroner’s inquest in the Ikorodu neighborhood of Lagos on Tuesday, November 7.

Omowunmi claimed that she now always wears a face mask when she walks outside as a result of the threats.

Due to past incidents of bullying, psychological harm, and the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency arrest, Mohbad passed away in his room on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, in the afternoon, long before his death was officially declared. This information is reported by his mother.

Before the singer passed away, according to her, he had taken a shower and wasn’t feeling well.

He asked for his room’s air conditioning to be put on, but it didn’t work, so they hurried him to his son’s room.

When Omowunmi arrived from her shift in the kitchen, she observed the nurse injecting him and heard Mohbad instruct the nurse to take out the syringe.

The coroner was then informed by her that they needed to take him immediately to the hospital.

When the driver mentioned that his hands were already chilly, she replied he was in the back seat of the vehicle.
