Joe Biden to wear braces for weeks after fracturing his foot while playing with his dog

It has been revealed that Joe Biden U.S president-elect suffered an ankle injury while playing with his pet dog called major on Saturday, November 28, 2020.

The office of the president-elect who released the information on Sunday, November 29th, Biden twisted his ankle and will undergo further examination.

Biden’s office added that Biden will see a doctor in order to take an x-ray of the fractured ankle

President-elect fractured his right foot while playing with one of his dogs, the injury discovered in a scan on Sunday will likely require him to wear a boot for several weeks, his doctor said.

“Initial x-rays did not show any obvious fracture,” but medical staff ordered a more detailed CT scan, his doctor, Kevin O’Connor, said in a statement. The subsequent scan found tiny fractures of two small bones in the middle of his right foot.

Major was rescued in 2018 by Joe Biden and his Jill Biden, making it the first shelter dog to occupy the white house.

The German Shepherd is their second of two dogs. Joe Biden adopted their first dog called Champ in 2008 when Biden became Barack Obama’s vice president. Champ is also a German Shepherd. The Bidens reportedly want to add a cat to their family.

Because of what happened, Trump took to his Twitter on Sunday night to wish Biden well after seeing a video of Biden leaving the hospital.

Currently, the white house’s occupants, Trump, and Melania do not have pets.

Family and friends are wishing Biden a quick recovery and also prays that he gets back to his feets
