Kaduna Govt Alert Residents To Be Vigilant Of Explosive Devices Planted By Terrorists

Residents of a state has been told to be vigilant of explosive devices planted by terrorists.

The Kaduna State Government has called for increased vigilance against terrorist-planted explosive devices.

The Kaduna State Government wishes to issue a critical advise to residents across the state. Urging them to be on high alert for the possibility of terrorists planting explosive devices in public areas.

This is in response to ongoing security evaluation. And the likelihood of terrorists attempting to hurt residents by concealing explosives in public locations such as schools, hospitals, hotels, clubs, entertainment centers, restaurants, parks, main roadways, and places of worship.

Security authorities are working hard to ensure that citizens and facilities are not harmed or destroyed.

Citizens are asked to be aware of the threat and to keep an eye out for suspicious people loitering. Or parcels that appear to be abandoned in strategic locations.

Increased general awareness is strongly suggested, as are periodic comprehensive inspections of premises.

Quarry operators are also encouraged to improve security on their premises and ensure that explosive materials are not easily available to criminals. Sites will be examined to ensure they are in compliance.
