Kebbi State University Student was beaten to death because of N3500
Kebbi State University final year biochemistry student was beaten to death. He was killed over N3500 a week to his graduation. Aliero, sharifleen sale kanya, was reportedly beaten to death by a mob over N3500.
The incident happened outside the campus in Aliero community on Saturday night, February 27.
Sharif reportedly bought a phone and transferred the sum of (3500) to the owner. Thehelenmedia reported that he received a debit alert, but when he arrived the campus he realized that the mobile transaction failed or bounced, so he decided to go back and resend the money to the phone seller.
But, the phone seller raised an alarm and accused him of theft immediately he saw him the alarm alerted residents in the area who descended on Sharif and beat him to coma.
He was rushed to the hospital where he later died.
Over 20 person have so far, been arrested in Connection with the incident.
