Kizz Daniel debunks being arrested or detained in Ivory Coast, recounts what occured

Kizz Daniel, a well-known singer, has denied rumors that he was detained by CAF and imprisoned in Ivory Coast for allegedly refusing to perform.

Yesterday, rumors circulated that the Afropop artist had been detained in Abidjan, the nation’s capital, for allegedly refusing to perform after being paid.

Kizz Daniel, however, has denied these rumors in a message posted on his Instagram page.

He stated that despite the signed contract, which clearly stipulates that no pay, no performance, the organizers did not provide payment for his performance.

He claims that when he arrived in the city, the organizers still hadn’t paid, but he nevertheless gave a performance.

He claimed he left because his team had been attacked backstage.

*CAF didn’t deal with us directly, it was through an agent

* The agent signed my contract which states “no money no performance”

* I agreed to fly in regardless, after sO many appeal and of cuz excuses on bank transfer delay with the promise of receiving the money upon arrival in Abidjan

*Till now no payment , not even the alleged amount mentioned

*I still chose to support CAF and went ahead to the venue to perform without payment, but unfortunately my 3 min performance slot was up.

* my team were assaulted back stage and i decided to take my leave

I am not arrested by CAF OR DETAINED WHATSOEVER e] AM FINE AND HEADING TO LONDON FOR MY SHOW NOV 12, OVO ARENA , WEMBLEY”
