Lewis Hamilton set to sign new £40m Mercedes contract after breaking records this season

LEWIS HAMILTON: When success is achieved, any other thing is achievable as long as the Herculean thrive is there for more pursuit.

Lewis has strived to the peak of signing a deal after breaking a huge record this year. This is one record he had to yearn to achieve in the long run.

With this, one and only icon, Formula one champion, Lewis Hamilton is set to sign a mega £40m deal with the Mercedes after clinching his seventh world title with Mercedes this season.

Hamilton, who has more race wins, pole positions, and podiums than any driver in history said he wanted his future to be sorted by Christmas and his team has given a heavy hint that Hamilton’s future is now tied up.

A post on the Mercedes’ official Twitter page carried the hashtag ‘announce’ accompanied by the ‘coming soon’ and ‘pen’ emojis along with a quote from Hamilton expressing his desire to stay with Mercedes.

The 35-year-old won a record-equalling seventh Formula One title last month, six of which have come since his switch from McLaren to Mercedes in 2013.

This is what he added in a quote “I PLAN TO BE HERE NEXT YEAR, I WANT IT BE HERE NEXT YEAR. I THINK WE AS A TEAM HAVE MORE TO DO TOGETHER AND MORE TO ACHIEVE, BOTH IN THE SPOT BUT EVEN MORE OUTSIDE IT.

His current wages are £35million per year and the new terms are believed to be at the £40m marks.

Lewis has shown himself worthy of admiration to people, the young ones, his team, and his family. The world awaits more of his wins and wishes him more success in life.
