Nigerians drags Rema amid tribute to late Mohbad

Popular and talented afrobeats Singer Rema finally paid tribute to his late colleague Mohbad who died on the 13th of September 2023.

As the death of Mohbad has continued to top the media headlines on major platforms, Rema made an Instagram post which was a tribute to him.

This tribute appears not to sit well with netizens as the were pissed at how Rema made the tribute which sparked alot of reactions and arguments on all media platforms between fans

The ‘Calm down’ crooner stated in the tribute that the deceased tried to reach out to him but sadly he saw the message only after his death

He apologised to the deceased for failing to reply to his DM and paid his profound gratitude to him.

“No one deserves to go like this I’m hurt I never saw your DM You wrote ‘Peace of mind’ was your favorite song Now it’s too late to write vou back. God’s Angels be with you, Rest well King”

Many netizens think Rema deliberately snubbed Mohbad because he (Rema) thinks he is better than him and questioned how he say the message only after the singer is late.

But others defended Rema saying it might be true he didn’t see it.
