Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has shared her encounter with some area boys during a shooting for her new film, Ige.

Though encounters with area boys demanding money are not new to Nollywood actors and actresses, the video – posted on Instagram – gave her fans and followers a side of acting they might have not known.

The 38-year-old shared a video of herself and some area boys settling money issues at the location of her movie Ige on Instagram on Friday.

In her first post, she tried to settle them early saying it is whatever she has she will give them.

“How to handle area boys onset,” she wrote.

In another post, she said she had given those who acted as crowd N120 thousand already and has only 10 thousand for the area boys.

She said,

“Area boys 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️After giving them money they will still complain that the money is not enough and they want more. This is what we go through every time we are filming.”

Ige is a biopic movie produced by Nollywood actress Toyin and directed by Biodun Stephen.

Introducing the movie to her followers on Monday, Toyin said Ige means the unlikely oil merchant.

“Currently on set filming IGE(The Unlikely Oil Merchant) a true-life story of someone incredibly special to me, and I must say that it has been a humbling experience getting to know their journey and also having the opportunity to be a part of this very important telling of their life story,” she wrote.

Ige stars Nollywood actress Toyin, her husband Kolawole Ajeyemi, Lateef Adedimeji, Taiwo Hassan, Bimbo Ademoye among several others.
