Through an eye-opening video on TikTok, the Oyinbo men and Social Catfish successfully outwitted the gullible con artist, eventually revealing his whereabouts via his IP address. This dramatic disclosure of the intricate scam took place.

The engrossing video, which has received a lot of attention on social media, narrates the tale of Leah, a US lady who believed she had finally found love in an unexpected location after three failed marriages.

She met a man on Facebook who went by the name of Christopher Rodriguez six months ago.

But as it turned out, Christopher Rodriguez was a made-up character, conjured up by the Nigerian “Yahoo boy” who had taken the identity of a real white guy, Eric Powell.

The con artist deceived Leah by posing as an Ohio day trader and thus manipulating her into becoming a “cash mule.”

Gradually, he was able to obtain her bank account details and, much worse, her affection and confidence.

Leah had no idea that the person she thought was her internet love interest was actually just a sophisticated fake.

Leah’s circumstances drastically changed when the gang of white guys who had made it their mission to expose the fraudster realized what his genuine goals were.

One of the men in the TikTok video revealed that Leah had gone to tremendous measures in her search for love, even getting ready to move to Miami on November 10 in order to be with the person she thought to be Christopher Rodriguez.

On top of the fact that I gave up my job to move to Miami. I don’t even have enough gas in my car to do DoorDash to make more money. I am broke. I am broken,” Leah lamented.
