Recall The Helen Media reported that the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) announced the sighting of the new moon in various parts of Nigeria which makes today April 13th the first day of Ramadan.
The Muslims in Nigeria join with their counterparts in the rest of the world to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan fasting for 29 or 30 days based on the Islamic (Hijri) calendar.
