School teacher reportedly on the run after he allegedly beat his student to death in Lagos

Ridwan Oyewunmi, A Nigerian man has beckoned on Nigerians on social media to help him get justice after a school teacher who is currently on the run, allegedly beat his younger brother, Boluwatife Omelaja, to death at a school in Ikorodu, Lagos state on Thursday, November 26.

Ridwan tweeted that the distraught brother said the teacher tortured him because he couldn’t answer a question in his class.

This is his tweet about the whole thing.

“Twitter NG I just lost my brother to School Teacher Brutality. Mr. Emmanuel(frame 1)is a sec school teacher at Elihans college, Ikorodu in Lagos. He beat up my brother Boluwatife Omelaja(frame 2) to death on the 26th of November on the school premises because he couldn’t answer a math question he was asked correctly.

The school initially made us believe he slumped and died while he was trying to answer the question on the board, a boy who wasn’t ill or showed any sign of sickness before.

He was brought home in the school’s bus by the school proprietress and principal, along with Mr. Emma-whom we didn’t know was the killer at that time, and he was buried a few hours later according to Muslim doctrine

Meanwhile Bolu’s other brother, Lateef Omelaja was prevented from leaving the school premises, in order to prevent him from spreading the true news to us at home and to buy Mr. Emma more time to run away.

We believed the cock and bull story the school fed us not until Lafeef got home at around 5 pm and narrated what really happened at the school to us.

We also confirmed this from other students of the school including classmates of Boluwatife.

The painful part is, the school keeps trying to cover up for Mr. Emma claiming he didn’t beat Bolu.

Mr. Emma is on the run, nowhere to be found.

I know no amount of punishment for him will bring back my brother but I just want Mr. Emma located and justice served.

He is currently beckoning on Nigerians to help him fight justice for Bolu

Priscilla Ojo, the daughter of Iyabo Ojo, was severely rebuked by well-known journalist Kemi Olunloyo for declaring that she will never date a man who is less wealthy than her.

The young fashionista recently discussed the value of financial matching in dating relationships in a podcast.
She believes that she cannot date someone who is more financially successful than her since he would have to have the same level of drive to support her.

Her statements, however, caused quite a stir online as several people felt them to be highly provocative.

Kemi Olunloyo bashed her, pointing out that her mother dated pastors and governors when she was growing up, so it’s not all her fault but rather the result of her upbringing.

Nigerian blogger Tosin “Silverdam” Damolekun has admitted to feeling guilty for purposely ignoring his father’s calls up until his passing.

After a protracted illness, the media personality’s elderly father passed away, leaving him saddened.

On his own Instagram profile, the blogger shared a video of his father’s casket being slowly lowered into the earth while a preacher offered prayers over it.

In another clip, he included a video of some men carrying the casket to the grave they had dug for it.

The circumstances behind his father’s death were disclosed by Tosin Silverdam. He claimed that his father passed away due to an ulcer.

The blogger subsequently said in an article that he grieved when he realized his father was never going to return and had to put sand on his coffin.

Tosin claimed to have spoken with his father just two days before he passed away.

He even made plans to visit them and offer them supplies and a deep freezer he had bought for his mother.

The socialite disclosed that he had even bought his father some medication the day before he passed away and was intentionally not answering his calls since he knew he wanted to thank him.

He wrote, “That feeling when they are burying your father and you have to pour sand on his grave. I Cried, Like I Cried. That was when it dawned on me.”

Online buzz has been sparked by a masquerade that refused to whip a Nigerian military soldier.

Certain masquerades have a well-deserved reputation for whipping bystanders with their whips.

Nevertheless, given its persistent refusal to come into contact with the soldier, this masquerade gives the impression that it respects established authority.

The military man is heard challenging the masquerade to a fight during their conversation, but the masquerade declines, questioning why he should beat his oga.

The masquerade continues by saying that he was part of the group that performed a dance for him the day before.

The soldier laughed at this, telling the masquerade that he would have received a proper lesson if he had whipped him.
