Simi drags Nons Miraj, Ashmusy and others over video depicting African mothers
Singer Simisola Kosoko, also known as Simi, has brought Ashmusy and Nons Miraj into a brawl over a skit showing the behavior of African mothers.
A few days ago, a video depicting how Nons Miraj and other content creators, portray African mothers at events was published on the Facebook of Ashmusy.
At the restaurant, Ashmusy, Nons Miraj, and the other skit performers were dressed as elderly mothers, hurrying through their meals and snapping photos like they used to when they attended events.

Simi criticized the skit creators in response to the video, calling it a mess. She claims that many mothers she knows do not behave in the manner portrayed in the skit makers’ video, which does not reflect reality.

She tweeted, “That video about African moms where they looked a mess and were eating like dogs made me mad af. I don’t know anybody’s mom that acts like that. Y’all get your jokes together.”
