A Nigerian singer, Simi Adekunle God has officially decline and replied to a negative comment on her Twitter wall.
She recently got Nigerians talking after she took to social media to give a hilarious response to a fan who said she should be singing in heaven.
As popularly known as one of Nigeria’s ‘A’ list female musicians as her voice and style of musicians her voice and style of music is compared to none, as she has been in the industry since 2008, following the release of her debut studio album ‘Ogaju’.
The fan identified by his social media name, Pharrell Godson, said Simi belongs to those musicians who should be singing ‘Hallelujah’ in Heaven as the world doesn’t deserve her voice.
“Simi is one of the singers that are supposed to be in Heaven singing Hallelujah to God because the world doesn’t deserve that voice.” Pharrell wrote.
When Simi saw this comment, she decided to reply as she said bluntly, this means that she means what she says.
She countered replying Pharrell that’s she isn’t complaining as she’s okay here on earth.
Please oh, I’m not complaining oh. I’m ok here oh.” She said.
This got many fans talking and many of them are of the opinion she is not ready to go now.
All that the fans are replying on her wall are that she is not ready to die, bringing back popular songs like ‘NOBODY WAN DIE BUT THEM WAN GO HEAVEN’
Simi isn’t dumbfounded because people will always speculate, be it good or bad. She is only in her opinion that she is comfortable with her place here on earth.
