Teen girl who recorded George Floyd’s final moments receives an award for her bravery
A 17-year-old girl name Daniella Frazier pulled out her phone and hit record on May 25 during the police killing of George Floyd, recently, she has been awarded for her bravery.
Recall that Daniella had gone out to the store with her younger cousin that day when she saw a man handcuffed former Minneapolis officer Derek Chauvin pressing his knee into George Floyd’s neck for nearly nine minutes, in what turned out to be Floyd final moment.
She actually shared the video on Instagram and other social media and it went viral, sparking change in her community, leading to the firing of the four officers involved, a ban on police chokeholds, a federal investigation, and a global protest against police brutality and racism worldwide.
On Tuesday, 8 December, Frazier got awarded for bravery by PEN America, an organization that promotes free expression. She received the organization courage award.

With a cellphone, pretty Frazier changed the history of her country and made her name by receiving an award from the PEN America CEO Suzanne Nossel.
“With remarkable steadiness, Darnella carried out the expressive act of bearing witness, and allowing hundreds of millions around the world to see what she saw,” Nossel’s statement read. “Without Darnella’s presence of mind and readiness to risk her own safety and wellbeing, we may never have known the truth about George Floyd’s murder.”
Frazier is a high school senior in Minneapolis, she thanked the organization for the honor at the virtual gala.
Unimaginably she said that in her 17 years of experience, she wouldn’t have known that she is the one.
She added; it is just a lot to take in, but I couldn’t say thank you enough for everything that’s been coming towards me.

Renowned Nollywood actor Gideon Okeke has criticized female content creators on social media for posting pictures of themselves online.

The former Big Brother Naija housemate pointed out in a lengthy post on his Instagram page how content creators hide their relationships while exposing their most private parts under the guise of making entertainment.
He also talked about how these women use phrases like “My body is my business,” “You can look but can’t touch,” and “You can’t tell a woman what to do with her body” as compliments.
The actor continued, saying that since everyone is a vigilante on the streets, all he is doing is advocating for safer streets and the growth of better men.

Kemi Olunloyo bashed her, pointing out that her mother dated pastors and governors when she was growing up, so it’s not all her fault but rather the result of her upbringing.

Mr Eazi confirms marital status, opens up on his private wedding to Temi Otedola in Venice
Afrobeats singer Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, better known as Mr. Eazi, has announced his marriage to Temi Otedola, an actress.

Mr. Eazi revealed that he is, in fact, married to the billionaire’s daughter in an interview with Naija 102 FM, debunking rumors that he and Temi Otedola were hiding their marriage and wedding.
He says that he didn’t keep their wedding a secret because the music video for his song “Legalize” included footage from their Venice wedding.
The singer claimed that the outfits they wore in the video went beyond simple costumes as he pleaded with viewers to see it again.

He said: “Who told you it was a secret wedding? Go and watch the video of my song ‘Legalize’ you will get the answer to your question. We shot the video in Venice.
