Tems speaks on speculations of being pregnant for US rapper, Future

Tems, a rising talent in Nigerian music, has dispelled speculations that she was expecting Future, the rapper from America.

Pregnancy rumors began to circulate in September following the release of an allegedly embarrassing video showing her gaining weight.

The Oscar-nominated diva was seen wearing a black dress, a fluffy purple coat, and matching heels to Burberry’s Spring/Summer 2024 London Fashion Week event.

Her clothes stuck to her body so much that many people thought she may be pregnant.
Fans quickly made snap decisions and woven a web of pregnancy rumors, believing that she was carrying Future’s child.
Tems was asked during her radio appearance with American podcaster Angela Martinez why fans are so thrilled about pregnancy rumors.

She waved it away, saying she was no more sophisticated than a kitten at a dog show. Maybe because, she thought, she tucked her top inside her pants to highlight her protruding belly.

She discovered the pregnancy rumors were back in the news two days later when her mother and other family members started asking questions.
