“This one na money she dey find” – Tonto Dikeh receives backlash as she officially decamps to APC

Actress Tonto Dikeh, from Nigeria, has come under fire for defecting from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to the All Progressive Congress (APC).

The politician and actor officially switched from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to the African Progressive Party (APC). This year, he stood for Rivers State’s deputy governorship.
Following the announcement in a message posted on the party’s Twitter account, she was formally welcomed to the gathering.

Dr. Mary Alile, the APC National Women Leader, formally unveiled and greeted the movie star at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.

The post reads:

“Tonto Dikeh, the latest @officialAPCNg member, will be officially unveiled by the APC National Women Leader, Dr Mary Alile, today by 3 pm at the APC National Secretariat, Abuja, Nigeria.

The actress’s decision to join the APC has generated controversy online, as many have criticised her for doing so.
