“This video is embarrassing” — VeryDarkMan reacts to trending video of Mr Ibu begging for aid
The controversial activist, VeryDarkMan, uploaded a video in which he begged for help paying his medical costs, and after that, he vented his embarrassment and fury towards Nollywood as a whole.

Yesterday, the Nollywood icon, who celebrated his birthday with his family, uploaded a video in which he begged for public assistance with his condition.
The activist seemed incensed by this video and started criticizing Nollywood right away.
He believes that Mr. Ibu shouldn’t have to ask for assistance, and it suggests that the film industry is unstructured.
Mr. Ibu was described by VeryDarkMan as a legendary filmmaker of many excellent films.
He acknowledged that these tales are not respected by the majority of Nigerians. He feels that Nollywood ought to have arrived at a place where legends like him might receive pensions.

At the end of the video, he graciously asked his over 600,000 app followers to donate at least one thousand Naira to Mr. Ibu’s surgery.
