Tiwa Savage overtakes Wizkid, becomes 2nd most followed Nigerian celebrity on Instagram

The award-winning singer Tiwa Savage receives praise from her followers for surpassing Afrobeat artist Wizkid to take the second spot as the most followed Nigerian on Instagram.

It is noteworthy that Davido Adeleke,a nominee for the Grammy Award, has an astounding 28.2 million followers, making him the most followed Nigerian star.

Wizzy, who had ranked second until a few days ago, lost his crown and was forced to take third place by Tiwa Savage, who presently has 17.9 million followers.

Although there isn’t much of a difference between Tiwa and Wizkid, supporters of the former are happy that their favorite artist is at the top with over 100,000 followers.
