“Why I restricted Mohbad on Instagram” Oxlade narrates recent buzz amid heavy criticism

Following the contentious Mohbad saga, Nigerian Afrobeat musician Oxlade has now explained to the public why he blocked the late artist Mohbad from using Instagram while he was still alive.

Many Nigerians were shocked by Mohbad’s passing, especially after learning that Naira Marley and Sammy Larry allegedly bullied him to death.

Numerous controversies surrounding his passing led to the grief of a large number of Nigerian citizens who demanded that justice be done while also paying respect to his standing.

Oxlade, a popular singer in Nigeria, was no exception; however, when Nigerians learned that he had restricted the artist and ignored his messages while he was still alive, they mercilessly teased him.

They were so furious with him that they even found out that he was fast to honor him even though he was constrained by him. Oxlade, who attempted to hide his tendency for hypocrisy, was exposed after perceptive bystanders noticed his misfortune.

In response, Oxlade responded on his Instagram story by refuting all claims and justifications. He revealed his fight with Iyanya to his friend, saying that he had attacked him for refusing to include him in a song. He also explained why he had restricted Mohbad.

He claims that his brand limits his close friends’ access due to privacy concerns and extensive public bookings.

He wouldn’t want to mix his personal and professional lives, and he would want to keep his close friendships out of the manager’s purview who manages his Instagram account.

Despite his justification, some Nigerians were still not happy and severely criticized him while threatening to kill him.
