“I am all about the progress of my country” – Tonto Dikeh breaks silence after decamping to APC
Tonto Dikeh, a politician and actress from Nigeria, has spoken out after switching to the All Progressive Congress (APC).
Recall that Dr. Mary Alile, the national head of the APC for women, revealed the actress on Monday as a party member.
Following the announcement in a tweet from the party, she was formally welcomed to the gathering.
Many reacted differently to the news of her departure, with many accusing her of being hypocritical.
According to Tonto Dikeh, she has learned through the years that visionary individuals who dedicate their lives to helping others make for excellent leaders.
Her entire attention is directed toward the betterment of Nigeria, her home country, and its young people.
She claims that her choice to join the APC is a triumph for all Nigerians who are overcoming hardship and looking for optimism.
She reaffirmed her faith in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda for Nigeria’s growth.
