Here are the Celebrities That Have Been Accused Of Rape

Rape in Nigeria has become a serious issue of concern and more than ever before, more cases are being recorded.

In times past, rape culture was a rarity, but a lot more lately more victims are beginning to open up and name their abusers.

Several top celebrities have been accused of alleged rape and today we would be taking a casual look at some of them.

Without wasting time, let’s get right into it.

5, Brymo

Nigerian singer, Ibrahim Olawale like the others in this list recently came under fire after a lady on social media claimed the singer had raped her.

A couple of other women also came out on social media to reveal the singer has assaulted them sexually and it didn’t take long before the singer revealed that his team was going to take action against the ladies for accusing him falsely.

4. Peruzzi

Davido music worldwide (DMW) artist, peruzzi has also been accused of rape recently.

The talented singer was accused by a UK-based singer, identified as Daffy Blanc.

She took to her social media to share a terrible ordeal where she allegedly had with the singer where he attempted to rape her. She later deleted her tweets, and that’s the last we heard of it.

The singer was also accused of tweeting rape motivational tweets back in 2012, and he has since apologized after revealing he was naive at the time.

3 . MC Galaxy

Nigerian singer and comic, MC Galaxy is another entertainer who has been accused of rape.

Upcoming singer, Simbee Davis, accused MC Galaxy of rape during the heat of Busola Dakolo’s revelation against Fatoyinbo.

She claimed the singer had raped her in 2010, but later took a U-Turn after claiming she made a joke.

The singer didn’t find it funny and promised to take legal actions for such a preposterous joke.

2. African China

Nigerian veteran singer, African China was also accused of rape while he was in London for a show.

African China slept in a room with a white lady while in London, after she revealed she couldn’t go home, only for her to return with the Police and get the singer arrested.

His career has taken a nosedive since the incident.

1, D’banj

Nigerian singer, D’banj is the latest to suffer from an alleged rape case that is still present ongoing.

Nigerian model scout, Benjamin Ese, a few weeks ago took to social media to allege that Dbanj raped his friend on December 31, 2018, at a hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos.

According to him, his friend was forced to share her story after the Kokomaster joined in preaching against rape on his Instagram page.

Benjamin in a series of shocking revelations claimed Dbanj offered his friend N200k at an event to sleep with him, but she refused. It was also alleged that the singer went to the hotel where she had lodged for the night, got a spare key from the receptionist, entered her room, and raped her.

The lady identified as Seyitan Babatayo later revealed herself, sharing more details about what transpired the night the singer allegedly took advantage of her. She took to Twitter to share her ordeal in a series of a now-deleted tweet that has been taken down. The matter is still ongoing.

“They hide their man yet show us their body parts” – Gideon Okeke takes a swipe at female content creators

Renowned Nollywood actor Gideon Okeke has criticized female content creators on social media for posting pictures of themselves online.

The former Big Brother Naija housemate pointed out in a lengthy post on his Instagram page how content creators hide their relationships while exposing their most private parts under the guise of making entertainment.

He also talked about how these women use phrases like “My body is my business,” “You can look but can’t touch,” and “You can’t tell a woman what to do with her body” as compliments.

The actor continued, saying that since everyone is a vigilante on the streets, all he is doing is advocating for safer streets and the growth of better men.

Priscilla Ojo, the daughter of Iyabo Ojo, was severely rebuked by well-known journalist Kemi Olunloyo for declaring that she will never date a man who is less wealthy than her.

The young fashionista recently discussed the value of financial matching in dating relationships in a podcast.
She believes that she cannot date someone who is more financially successful than her since he would have to have the same level of drive to support her.

Her statements, however, caused quite a stir online as several people felt them to be highly provocative.

Kemi Olunloyo bashed her, pointing out that her mother dated pastors and governors when she was growing up, so it’s not all her fault but rather the result of her upbringing.

Afrobeats singer Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, better known as Mr. Eazi, has announced his marriage to Temi Otedola, an actress.

Mr. Eazi revealed that he is, in fact, married to the billionaire’s daughter in an interview with Naija 102 FM, debunking rumors that he and Temi Otedola were hiding their marriage and wedding.
He says that he didn’t keep their wedding a secret because the music video for his song “Legalize” included footage from their Venice wedding.

The singer claimed that the outfits they wore in the video went beyond simple costumes as he pleaded with viewers to see it again.

He said: “Who told you it was a secret wedding? Go and watch the video of my song ‘Legalize’ you will get the answer to your question. We shot the video in Venice.
