Ojuolape Asuquo Celebrates Husband, Cohbams Asuquo On His 40th Birthday
Today is popular Nigerian Singer/Songwriter, Cohbams Asuquo’s 40th birthday and his wife, Ojuolape Asuquo is especially celebrating him.
Celebrating his day, Ojuolape took to her Instagram page, to narrate how he met him 20 years ago, how far and strong they have been together since then.

20 years ago, I met a young man who had just graduated from King’s College Lagos. From that first day, he was brilliant, handsome, hilarious and so incredibly kind. And in those last few months of 2001, as we caught up on each other’s lives, dreams and hopes, we became fast friends and after a few years and conversations…husband and wife.
In a few hours, that 20-year old man who I first met on a hot day in Onikan, will be marking his 40th year on this earth.
My heart is so full of excitement and gratitude for this milestone my darling.
A new chapter is unfolding, a new season, a new era filled with all your heart’s desires, dreams and prayers answered. Regardless of Covid-19 adjusting our birthday plans, I know you will have a beautiful day because if there’s one thing you are so good at, it’s enjoying and cherishing life despite what it throws your way.
I don’t always have all the words, but I have the essence of the gift that is you. And my prayer is that with every passing year I’m able to mirror and multiply the beauty of your essence back to you daily. I’m so grateful for you, our love, our friendship, and our family!
You are so so loved, cherished and I celebrate you today and always. And as you’ve been saying, we shall surely turn up in September (or August, Oct or )!

“They hide their man yet show us their body parts” – Gideon Okeke takes a swipe at female content creators
Renowned Nollywood actor Gideon Okeke has criticized female content creators on social media for posting pictures of themselves online.

The former Big Brother Naija housemate pointed out in a lengthy post on his Instagram page how content creators hide their relationships while exposing their most private parts under the guise of making entertainment.
He also talked about how these women use phrases like “My body is my business,” “You can look but can’t touch,” and “You can’t tell a woman what to do with her body” as compliments.
The actor continued, saying that since everyone is a vigilante on the streets, all he is doing is advocating for safer streets and the growth of better men.

“You grew up around a mother who dated Lagos governors and pastors so that’s all you know” – Kemi Olunloyo blasts Priscilla Ojo following her viral statement
Priscilla Ojo, the daughter of Iyabo Ojo, was severely rebuked by well-known journalist Kemi Olunloyo for declaring that she will never date a man who is less wealthy than her.

The young fashionista recently discussed the value of financial matching in dating relationships in a podcast.
She believes that she cannot date someone who is more financially successful than her since he would have to have the same level of drive to support her.
Her statements, however, caused quite a stir online as several people felt them to be highly provocative.
Kemi Olunloyo bashed her, pointing out that her mother dated pastors and governors when she was growing up, so it’s not all her fault but rather the result of her upbringing.

Mr Eazi confirms marital status, opens up on his private wedding to Temi Otedola in Venice
Afrobeats singer Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, better known as Mr. Eazi, has announced his marriage to Temi Otedola, an actress.

Mr. Eazi revealed that he is, in fact, married to the billionaire’s daughter in an interview with Naija 102 FM, debunking rumors that he and Temi Otedola were hiding their marriage and wedding.
He says that he didn’t keep their wedding a secret because the music video for his song “Legalize” included footage from their Venice wedding.
The singer claimed that the outfits they wore in the video went beyond simple costumes as he pleaded with viewers to see it again.

He said: “Who told you it was a secret wedding? Go and watch the video of my song ‘Legalize’ you will get the answer to your question. We shot the video in Venice.

Go and watch the video and you will see everything clearly. It’s just like what painters do, whenever you see their work you will see the message they’re trying to convey.
That’s how it’s with us musicians too”.
