Popular Nigerian singer, Seyi Shay has narrated her own side of the story following her public fight with fellow colleague, Tiwa Savage at hair salon.

Recall on On June 8, 2021, Nigerian stars, Seyi Shay and Tiwa Savage met each other at a salon. Savage was there, already getting her hair done while Shay was there to get her hair done for her Idol’s appearance on Sunday, June 13, 2021.
Seyi Shay in her statement recalled that before the argument at salon took place between her and Tiwa Savage, she had walked over to say hi to Tiwa, who greeted her back while they shared fleeting glances at each other.

However, 20 minutes after, Seyi Shay revealed that she was talking to the hair salon owner, then Tiwa Savage walked over to her and said ‘In your dirty stinking life, never ever greet me outside anywhere you see me again’ that was how the infamous argument that has now gone viral started.

Shay revealed she was shocked by the unexpected outburst stressed that Savage’s beef with her was not about the #FvckYouChallenge verse she recorded in April 2019 as she confirmed that they have met each other more than twice since her #FvckYouChallenge and they exchanged pleasantries on all occasions.
“We’ve even entered private jet together, we’ve taken pictures together,” Shay said.

To her, the beef is way more than that as made some accusations towards Tiwa Savage.

Seyi Shay also alleged that she co-wrote one of Tiwa Savage’s hit songs ‘Mr. Lover Lover’ featuring Ceeza milli but the mother of one failed to give her credit.

Vindicating herself in a phone conversation with PULSE, Seyi Shay claimed that not all the part of the video was released online becaue Tiwa Savage cursed her and prayed she will never have a child.

“She used her child to swear and I was trying to stay calm….i don’t know if she is angry over her pregnancy rumor that has been making headlines or sometime now but she prayed I will not have a child in Yoruba language…she said to me, seyi oni bimo, olorun oni fun e ni omo, mo mo pe o n wa omo (Seyi you will not have a child God will not give you a child, I know you have been looking for one) and it hurt me cos i have had a miscarriage and I know how much pain i felt when it happened, and then this curse…..i felt bad and concluded that she is out for my blood…..and she kept saying I am rich, I am made…. what is her main reason for claiming she is rich…why is she stalking me and saying i’m looking for a child…she is about seven years older than me and acting that childish in a public place, a saloon…”
